all stupid events are back so it will be fun again.

breaking news!!!

Crank bmx rider Kenneth Tancré was first after amateur park at the 2012 world championships freestyle bmx,
so he now is the official new BMX World Champion!!!
congratulations Kenneth!!!

Sad news...

Just got the call that they won't work on the skatepark in kooigem anymore before september,
so there will be no riding possible this summer, and what is even more sad,
after 7 years of city battle's, there won't be one this year.
this sucks big time.

BMX sport camp

we are doing a BMX sportcamp again this summer from 9 till 13 july
it's 75€ for the week, including a picknick in the afternoon, and we will ride different parks all the time.
one of the things we will also do is make our own longboard deck. (and you will get a chance to buy a set of parts on discount price to make it a complete board)
it's first come, first serve, so don't wait to long.

RAIN SUCKS!!!

i've said it before, and i'll say it again:
Belgium, great country, but it needs a roof.

So we had the official opening of the spine mini in waregem on a thursday evening in april.
it got rained out.

then end april we got the opening of the luxaplast with the new mini ramp and the resi.
it got rained out.

and last weekend the sport@kortrijk event at the skatebowl.
it got rained out before we even started.

guess crank needs it's own indoor park. (working on it for a long time now, but i never quit working on stuff till i got it for bmx, and you all know what i allready got done so keep your hope up)

next time better i hope...

Saterday 28 april shedual

hello, for those wondering, the spine and the resi are ready this is what we will be doing:
13.00 start event, resi session and warm up
sometime later: start amateur
more later: music group number one (i think x-possed)
then: start pro there after: music group 2 (forgot who, sorry)
then: price ceremony amateur, opening park (read: free beer!),
 and best trick contest and BSD premiere
and then: music group 3 (All i Know) 

as for the contest, it's very simple, you get 3 runs, best run counts.
 points go like this:
 -drop in: you get 20 points for free
 -spine: get up to 20 points for the spine trick
 -fly out: get up to 20 points for the fly out trick
 -jump box: get up to 20 points for the jumpbox trick
 -resi: get up to 20 points for the resi trick.

 as for the resi, let me make it clear. i know you can do nice turndowns.
don't do them on the resi. flip it. thats why i build it.

prices: amateur is free to enter, and i'll try to give everyone a price. cool.

pro is 10€ (sorry, i need to ask money for insurance reason)
pay out: 1st = 150€; 2nd = 100€; 3th = 75€; 4th = 50€ ; 5th = 25€
best trick is going to be on the resi and it's 100€ for best trick.
we will do a 15 minute jam i think.

2012 is apparently going to be our last year (due to some maya running out of space on his calendar), so lets make it count.

there are a lot of things in the pipeline for bmx here, but i can't release most.
just know it's all good news, and it's going to get only better and better.
to start, they are now stripping the skatepark in kooigem, and are re sheeting it with 3 layers of 8mm plywood.
so everyone who loved kooigem but hated the plastic sheets, you'll get your wish and will have a super fast park.
